Hello friends. I am sorry I haven't blogged in ages but to be honest I haven't felt like it. My blogging days seem to be over. My birthday was last week and I'd like to thank everyone that remembered my special day. I have lots of good friends and of course my loving family. Thank you for making my birthday so special. This picture has always cracked me up so I clipped it for my blog. I hope you are all well. How about the crazy weather we are having in MN. Spring is trying so hard to stay. Hello!!
Yes, still alive and BAD BAD blogger. At the cute little Minnetonka library now and just scanned this card before I mail it off to my BFF (OK one of my BFFs from "Team Tami")!! Ha ha and just a little inside joke. I hope you are all well. Just returned from a mini girlfriend retreat in Northern MN. I am very well rested, energized and roaring to go. I thought I'd check in to let you know I am still around and still here in the Mid West. Thanks for all your nice emails. Our snow count to date is like 61.4" if my memory suits me well. Have a super week friends. I'm so looking forward to the weekend. Its the month for my annual "Superbowl Stamping" gathering with friends. Cheers!! Tami

I am happy as a clam and NO longer freezing my you know what off. Sorry I've been absent for so long but my life has been a whirlwind lately however I am still alive and kicking!! Thanks for all the nice emails my dear friends. I've been taking care of business which does not leave much time for blogging. Now that I finally have my furnace repaired its time to bring my car into the shop on Tuesday. Its always something in Tami's world.

I have tons of new cards to share with you however I have to bring them to the library to scan them so I can post a few. Take care now and please stay warm. Feel free to leave me a little love as God knows I certainly need it now more than ever. 'Tis the season for the crazies too. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!...only 29 degrees at 4:30 am. We had our first official frost last nite and it sure was cold and frosty when I took the trash out. I apologize for being a bad blogger but I still have no working printer to scan my cards. Plus I sent a whole bunch of them out this week. Here's a card my friend Wendy made last Sat. nite when a bunch of us stampers got together. I loved how her card turned out and thanks for photographing it Jan. This was one of my highlights of Scrapfest on Friday. I only went one day this year and got my fill. Thanks Grandma Jan for taking this photo for me. The gentleman was HOT from head/hair to toe and there were several men in their fancy pants inside of Archivers at the Mall of America. I know this might not be for everyone but it was a nice diversion from the sea of women at Scrapfest and total eye candy. Tami

I attended an October Afternoon Crop Thursday evening at Scrapbooks Too (Bloomington) with four of my gal pals. The crop was SO awesome and it was held from 5pm to midnite. I enjoyed meeting John and Kim (owners of October Afternoon). They have been in business for four years and are located in Apple Valley, MN. We are very lucky to have such a fabulous company in our state. Here are projects we completed at the crop.

I am caving and going to the Mall of America on Friday. I just can't help myself. I will have my friend Grandma Jan photograph our October Afternoon goody bag and share that with you soon. Hello friends-
I don't have a working printer at the moment so I can't scan anything new to post. Sorry about that and I know I am a bad blogger. Tonight after our monthly ATC meeting at Smudges I hurried to Bloomington as I wanted to welcome Julie and Lindsay from Cosmo Cricket to Minneapolis (two of my favorite peeps in the industry). I always get really excited when its Scrapfest time at the Mall of America even though I won't be participating in a lot of things I am so grateful for the events I do get to attend. More on that later. Planning on venturing out to the BIG Mall of America on Sunday if all goes well this week. Unfortunately it started raining early today and hasn't really stopped all day. The forecast for the weekend is for a soggy and wet weekend. Oh well, can't control mother nature. I am off to clip some type of photo or image before I press publish. Hey I found a card I recently made. Thanks Grandma Jan for being the best photographer and for saving my you know what. Have a great rest of the week everyone. Hello friends. This was suppose to be ready by Aug. 31 but Blogger has given me lots of problems for two nites now. Recently made the Halloween card and the image is from the UK Pink Petticoats. I love that company. Notice the Tim Holtz tiny stapler. Had to run out and buy it after my friend Donna let me use hers! I got it at Michael's with a 40% off coupon. What kills me is you get a tiny amount of staples with it!! Geez Tim could you spare it? The stapler retailed for 15.99. Expensive little bugger but oh so cool and no regrets. I hadn't been inside a Michael's for like two months. I was weak and caved!!

Back to the card...background paper (Basic Gray) and I swiss dotted the black paper. Happy Friday. Going to spend the day crafting with my friend Sherry at Archiver's.

My first Christmas card!!

Hello friends

How are you? I must admit because I am rusty at blogging I totally forgot to post my card today. The products I used are from Kaiser, Anchor Paper, Archivers, Cuttlebug, Sizzix, Quick Kuts, and The Pine City Scrapbooking Co. The card took me SO long to get it to my liking but I am pleased how it came out.

My friend Ruth Ann has the new Basic Grey embossing folders and man do I want a couple sets.....(Santa Baby)!!! They are a must have and she purchased them at Joann's. I have been dreaming about them ever since she showed me them. The folders match the Basic Grey papers. Totally cool beans. Me wants bad.

Another wicked HOT day with that yucky humidity. We are going to have the same weather tomorrow but a few degrees cooler. I can't wait until the heat passes and am looking forward to fall. How about you?

Oh my goodness? I am going into shock myself because I'm back blogging!!! OMG!. Here's a card I recently made with my Cuttlebug (I dropped it yesterday at my front entrance -oops but it still works). Anyhow the card was an idea *I saw* while on a little road trip in Sioux Falls, SD this month. I just loved it and had to have it because I love to emboss paper. What do you think? Pretty cool hah. Why not give it a try with an embossing folder and a few stamps. The inside is really *butter* too it says treasure life. The designer paper is from K and Co. and was purchased at Michael's (8 x 8" pad).

The stamp set is from Close to My Heart and my BFF let me borrow her brand new set. Thanks Wendy. I will be back tomorrow with another card. Yes read my lips. Hello friends!! Did you think I fell off the face of the earth? Nope, I just melted from the excessive heat and needed to keep a low profile!! Man this summer has been a HOT one but I know its even hotter in other states so I really shouldn't complain. The heat is OK if you are near water. Speaking of water, I went to Lake Minnetonka on Sunday to check out something (friend of a friend's daughter's wedding). It was a glorious day and I even met a new friend at the lake and her adorable dog. Too funny. Lots of cute dogs and boats of all sizes there. Can't wait to go back this coming Sunday!!

I am mailing this card off to my middle sister. Sami's new dog Annie bit her early Friday while she was playing with Annie before work. Sami had to go to the emergency room and get seven stitches. Poor little sweet girl. I told her that because she is so sweet just like her older sister (me) that Annie had to take a bite out of Sami's mouth and find out just how sweet Sami really tasted. I have a picture of the inside of Sami's mouth with stitches and part of her lip but I don't think I should put it on my blog. Its kind of gross and I hope she doesn't get an infection.

Have a super week my friends. I will be busy again this week and am even going on a little road trip to Duluth with a couple friends. I can hardly wait to get out of town. Thanks for stopping. Hope you all are surviving the heat wave. It is so hard to even sleep on warm muggy nights. I simply hate it. I made this card for my sister using Cosmo Cricket DeLovely papers (yes I can't get enough of the paper) and incorporated a photo my friend Jan gave me that I believe came from the Internet. Man how I wish I still lived in New England. I really miss the ocean and going to the beach. That was certainly the life and vacationing on Cape Cod. I must say I love how the card came out and it was a reminder of all the fun times we had in MA, NH and CT at the beach. I hope sis enjoys it. I used Stickles on the sun rays. Have a nice weekend. Hey friends. Blogger gave me nothing but problems on Friday and Saturday nite so I couldn't post my class samples. How are you today?? Hope you are having a great day full of sunshine. I love my family and friends so much and I am so greatful for the little things in life. Its what matters most to me. Time to go sweep my front entrance and pick up the pieces from the horrible storms (no lie my plants are all hacked off from hail balls and horrific winds). I just want to cry but there are worse things that could have happened thank not good Lord. It was so beautiful out there on my little deck until Friday evening. Oh well...Mother Nature, I have BIG issues with you!! How dare you crumble my little world in just a few minutes. The beat goes on. Thanks for stopping by today. Its so humid here again. Yuck a do. Have you missed me? Its been one heck of a week and I will spare you the details. Here's a card I taught this week and I love the stamp by Stampendous and of course the October Afternoon paper. I even purchased a watermelon last week. We had really bad storms on Friday night and my deck plants really got a beaten. It was so bad and the wind,hail, and heavy rain was unreal not to mention the thunder and lightening. Happy Sunday. I had a great Saturday with my friends. Hello friends. How goes the battle? Its super late now but I wanted to post a card I taught Wed. at Smudges. Had a great time with the ladies and it was also our monthly ATC night. Our theme was cold drinks and Ruth Ann did a fabo job leading our group. It was a great day but quite HOT and HUMID. I've been keeping busy with life and other personal issues (bills, car). I have new classes next week at Anchor Paper and Smudges, Tues. and Wed. respectively. I've certainly had my share of DeLovely Cosmo Cricket goodness lately but I never get tired of the paper line. Its perfect for summer and I love it all. I have lots of class samples to share with you. I even have my own personal photographer Grandma Jan!! Thanks girlfriend. I appreciate all your efforts and kindness very much. Actually we are going on a little roadtrip this Sat. with our other friend Chris. Woo hoo. Can't wait!! I shouldn't be going but I just gotta get out of town again!! Life is good when you have great friends!! Don't you agree? We are family (think of the song)!! : )

I sent this card off to a friend today and I purchased it from Jessica, another stamping instructor. I know bad me but I love Greeting Farm images and I like to support other artists when I am able. Why not spread the love? It was very humid today and I hate weather like this. I got trapped in road construction twice and it was brutal with NO air. I kept thinking about all the men laying asphalt in the wicked heat. Watching the Bachelorette now even though I'm a little old for the show. Gotta run as my friend Mary is calling. Hello from HOT and HUMID MN!! Its so gross here. The weather hit 88 degrees yesterday and today they are saying its going to reach 91 but with the humidity it will feel like 97. Great no air conditioning.

I had a great action packed weekend. How about you? I was quite busy all weekend and didn't have a chance to call my family on Sunday. When I got home late last night there was no power in my neighborhood so I went straight to bed. It was so strange trying to feel my way upstairs to bed. I just emailed my sister again so I hope she will answer me so I can find out the blog candy winner. I am teaching the Graphic 45 classes today so another busy day. I'm off to take a class in Pine City that was planned long ago. Can't wait to get crafty with my girlfriends both days this weekend!! My friends are the BEST!! Good morning friends and happy Thursday. Today's going to be a fun play day for me and I can hardly wait to work on my outside plants and spruce things up a bit on the deck. The weather forecast is for more gorgeous weather and plenty of sunshine both of which make me SO happy. Sunshine wishes!!

Here's a card from yesterday's class at Smudges which I'll be sending to my sister and teaching again. I'm SO loving Pure Innocence stamps and October Afternoon papers. My Wednesday class went well and the ladies worked really hard on their projects. Can't wait for my next class at Smudges. Leslie and Trish are such nice women. Love them both.

Our ATC meeting was fun and we made several paper flowers. It was neat spraying them with assorted Glimmer Mist colors although my hands are still pretty stained!! Hope you all have a great day. I will NOT be participating in the garage sale. I am actually quite relieved and happy as its no picnic in the heat. I'll have my own garage sale some day and still plan to put stamps in a public sale next month. Can't wait for the weekend as I'll be spending some quality time with my girlfriends and another visit to Pine City on Saturday!! I appreciate my friends and am very grateful to have several wonderful people in my life. You are all so amazing and I feel so blessed. Its very comforting to know you can always count on your good friends through good and bad times. Thanks so much for your gift of friendship. Friendship is the greatest gift ever. Hi friends. I am beat from working hard on classes. I need my Mother. Anyway I am wicked excited to be teaching at Smudges today and seeing all the special ladies that frequently take my classes. They are the best and we always have fun at Smudges. I will be there all day as our ATC group meets in the evening and I still don't have my ATCs made yet not to mention last months. Yikes, I feel bad but that's life...busy busy busy. It has been really HOT lately which is unusual for MN in May but I'll take the gorgeous weather along with some much needed rest!! No rest for the wicked. HA HA.

Here's a card I made for *Mother Ellie* from a card kit I purchased in Pine City. Speaking of Pine City, my classes have been submitted and I am just waiting for the confirmation. You can stay overnite right in the back at the Pine City Retreat Center. I love going there and I can hardly wait for June to arrive. A working mini vacation. Hello! Happy Monday.

So much going on right now in my little world. I will try and spare you the details!! Today's card is one from a card kit and was sent to my friend in CO. I will be announcing the blog candy (isn't that DANDY?) winner soon after I speak to my family so no worries. A BIG thanks to all that participated. It meant the world to me and I know Sami and Mother Ellie will certainly enjoy the cards. The winner will be posted on my blog and hope to get the prize out as soon as possible. I am swamped with class preparations (designing and kiting) which is a good thing but hard on my hands (handling all the paper and washing my hands so frequently). I also need to make two sets of ATCs and come up with a project by Wed. evening for our ATC monthly meeting. Yikes. Then there's the garage sale. Oh my goodness. I am feeling stress just writing all this. I am not sure if I will be able to pull everything off?? We shall see. My poor little red car has been misbehaving again and I'm freaking out over it. Its hard to get places without reliable wheels. Both of my classes this week are planned as scheduled on Tuesday evening (Anchor Paper) and Wednesday afternoon (Smudges). You still have time to sign up -or- you may order the class kits. I am very pleased with my class samples. Have a good week peeps filled with lots of sunshine. Our MN weather has been simply beautiful lately. The forecast for this week is more gorgeous weather and I'll take it thank you very much. Sunshine makes me very happy. Sweet Annie

Here's Annie (Sami's new Carin Terrier). Isn't she just a little cutie pie? I think so and Sami just loves her to pieces. I found out today Sami was rear ended Monday evening on her way home from work by a car with two young male drivers. She drives a brand new Toyota Rave 4 and it was mucho buckaroos. I feel so bad for her. Sami is now driving a rental and even has to pay for part of the rental fee which is such a joke. I had to do the same long ago when I needed to rent a car for work. Life is not fair and full of unpleasant surprise. I am just so grateful she is not injured.

I have good news to report. I now have HOT water again and life is good. Today's service call did the trick but now I have another bill to pay. I will NOT be going anywhere this week including the Rubber Stamp Expo. No way Jose. I am going to continue to clean and gather up stuff to sell at a garage sale next week. Garage sales are NOT my thing but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!! I'm planning to participate in another stamp/scrapbooking sale in June. Here's the Make and Take card I taught at Smudges on Saturday using Crafty Secrets stamps and October Afternoon Paper. I really love the stamp set and of course the beautiful October Afternoon papers. It was raining so hard when I returned home late last nite from my little Northern MN road trip. Now its time to face my inoperable HOT water heater problem. I tell you its always something. Make and Take from We're Stamping Mad

I made this card at a paid Make and Take on Sat. while out with my friend Ruth Ann. We had a great day and visited two stores. Our first stop was the Stamp Garden in White Bear and they had a very lovely Make and Take. What a classy store Dawn has with such beautiful card samples. They even tie their cards down with jute. I couldn't believe it. How very sad they have to do that. Guess it takes all types. Hopefully no one snips off any samples. It was great seeing lots of people I haven't seen in a very long time.

Went to Archiver's and a few other places on Sunday. I know BAD me. I can't seem to get a grip on my bad habits. I swear its the coupons that rope me in. Wow, I can't believe its the first day of May. Did anyone get a May basket on their door? We used to do this when I lived in New England. I feel I got one as my birthday celebration continued. My friend RA gave me four of the new Tim Holtz inks and some neat owl ribbon for my b-day. I love the card she made me too. I will post it this coming week with her permission. It is gorgeous and I love anything made with embossing folders. RA showed me her newest collection of embossing folders and what a pretty continer she has from Joanne's she stores them in. I have to have it. Yikes there I go again. Bad Tami.

I got my haircut this morning and I absolutely love the cut. Thanks Rachael...you rock girl. RA picked me up and we headed to Caribou Coffee. I had the best day at The Stamp Garden (White Bear Lake) and then We're Stampin' Mad (Osseo). We didn't make it to Smudges for their Make and Take but we wanted to. Sorry Leslie, Trish and Connie but we just ran out of time. Reminder, I will be doing a Make and Take next Saturday at Smudges from 12-3 PM so mark it on your calendar now. I worked on my sample card last nite and playing around with some October Afternoon paper. I am very excited for next week. Cosmo Cricket class on Wed. at Smudges 10:30 am. Email me if you want to come. I am taking a class on Thursday nite with two friends at Archiver's Unity/Cosmo Cricket. Can't wait!! Can you say yummy and what a nice marriage. I do not own an Unity stamps but I know they are quite popular.

Last stop was a late lunch at Panera. I was on cloud nine. I had the BEST day seeing lots of old friends and students. I was SO nice seeing Chris, Debbie, Patti Jo, Julie and the other girls working at We're Stampin' Mad. I could go on and on because there are lots of nice ladies out there. It was fun meeting Jennifer. I have to visit her blog now. Anyway, I am pooped out from all the excited so I will be lazy tonight and watch a movie. I only bought like five small items today. I was really good. Paper (Graphic 45, a frog stamp, Hero Art MAN bling, and a tube of Flower Soft) Not bad for me. Thanks for stopping by. My Dad's birthday is coming up in May and I want to send him this card which just happens to be a card I am teaching Let's Get Graphic (Graphic 45 papers and tags)at Anchor Paper Plymouth Thursday, May 18 at 5:30 pm. Additionally, I bought my Dad a card from my friend Sherry as he loves golf and I just couldn't pass up her Graphic 45 card!! This year he will get two birthday cards because he is SO special and an avid golfer. He eat, sleeps and dreams golf. I am up late again taking care of business. I have a very busy Friday planned and will be dropping off my Graphic 45 class board at Anchor Paper . Finally getting a much needed haircut!! Looking forward to May 1st as its National Scrapbooking Day and lots of stores are having specials and Make and Take events. I am planning on joining my friend Ruth Ann for a little fun around town minus my wallet!! Yah right on that one!! I must be good as I've been very bad in April. NO BIG surprise there.

Next up...I feel like doing some blog candy again because I am almost at 20,000 blog hits and my sister Sami is adopting a new doggie today Annie. She and my Mom are driving over two hours to MA to pick up Annie. Sami had to go through an extensive adoption process for Annie who is a rescue dog and was even interviewed by a woman at her home. WOW but I totally understand why. I am SO happy for her and she certainly deserves to get another dog after losing Yoda last year. Happy Thursday friends. I have my challenge card done for our little Smudges group. I wanted to use this beautiful *virgin* perfume bottle (Postmodern Design), the lovely Graphic 45 paper and other rich papers from Anchor Paper. I love working with the gold foil stickers. Easy peasy when you use tweezers. I want to thank my BFF Wendy for the clever *doily* idea. We had lots of fun collaborating on this *bonus card* Tuesday evening at Smudges during the Graphic 45 class. Group 2 cheated!! Ha ha Group 1!! Its always a blast at Smudges and speaking of that fabo store I better get my butt up to bed and get some much needed shut eye as my chauffeur Sherry will be picking me up at 9:30 today for some yummy Caribou Coffee and then onto our playdate at Smudges . Don't you wish you could come out and play with us?? I hope you like my card. I am very pleased with it and most importantly I have Mother Ellie's Mother's Day card made and will mail it next week. Everyone is crazy over this card and now Jan the birthday gal is the proud owner. "Miss Bossy" picked her own birthday card from my stash. I made it in Jessica's card class in Pine City. Had a blast at Lunds Sat. evening with the chicklets Cosmo Cricket style!! Its always a real treat getting stampy with my friends. Its very late and I need sleep before my big coffee date with another crafty chick Sherry, the button woman. Anyway here's my card, short and sweet. Well low and behold, bam...I backed right up into my BIG garbage can which smashed into the garage door. I was SO tired and SO scared to get out of my car and look at my poor garage door. Whew no damage that I could see but I will have to recheck it later in the daylight. Then I had to unpack all the crafty junk in my trunk...can you say SO much stuff!! It ain't easy being me!! Sneak peak of Cosmo Cricket

Here's a card we will be making tonight at Lunds. I made up two extra class packets so you still have time to join us for a fun evening of Cosmo Cricket delight!! The festivities begin around 5ish. We probably won't start stamping until 6:30 or so. I am beyond excited. I love working with Cosmo Cricket. The paper and all the other doo dads are yummy and bring a BIG smile to my face. I want more!! I get SO happy just looking at their paper, chipboard and other goodies!! I used Garden Variety from the mini deck on this particular card. It is so cute (GV mini deck) OK and my card!! I also broke out my new Martha Stewart scissors to cut the grass. Coolio as my friend AMY says!! Had to run right out and get the scissors a few weeks ago. They are slicky dick I must say!! After all these years I still mess up their names so its easier to call them *Candy* although I kept calling the birthday gal Sandy (Candy #2) Sandra. I've been busy as a bee with all kinds of things this past week so my poor little bloggie has been neglected. Sorry about that but sometimes there is just no time to blog!! I wish I had a cute picture of me when I was a little tot to post today but I have no clue where they are so you will have to settle for a fox!! Why??? Because I am sly as a fox!! I am off in just a few hours to meet my BFF. We are going on a road trip to Pine City for a couple of days of R and R at a scrapbooking retreat however I am a stamper!! I will also be visiting with my BFF's baby sister and taking a stamping class on Thursday. I can hardly wait to hit the road Jack. I love those sweet Pangerl girls!! A third sister works at the scrapbooking store and there is another one in town!! Its been thundering and lightening all night as I've been packing. I must say Miss Foxie has Moxie and wishes she was foxy!! I did color my hair for the big day!! Bye bye roots.

I'd like to thank all of you that sent me birthday wishes and cards. I'm an old cat now but I can still party!! Have a great day my friends from the 'ole birthday girl!! PS... Ellie (Momma) thinks I turned 69 today but I'm not quite there yet. She wasn't thinking clearly the day she told her mailman I was soon turning 69. Geez Mom please don't rush it. I received a lovely bouquet of flowers yesterday from the man in the purple truck (Bachman's) and a big birthday package from Mr. Federal Express. I am so blessed and so thankful for my wonderful friends and family. Mom and I continue to find humor in her thinking I am now 69 (she sent me a big bottle of vitamin B12 and Alieve). I may and will try my hardest to post a blog from my birthday destination. I found my digital camera last winter but haven't bought new batteries yet. The cord is missing to get them to a computer. Darn its always something I tell you. I obviously haven't been stamping much lately because I had some very important tasks and business to take care of this week. Tami

I promise to post a card soon. For some strange reason I haven't been feeling like stamping lately but that will soon change. I hope your week has been a good one so far and full of sunshine. Tonight I thought I'd share a little funny story with you. My Mom you know "the famous one and only Ellie" was chatting it up with her mail carrier and told him I was soon turning 69 and that she and my Dad were exactly 20 years older. The mailman piped up and said, "Ellie you aren't 89?!?!" I just think this is the funniest thing ever and no I will NOT be turning 69 next week. Ha ha. Geez Mom please don't push it!!

Stay turned. I'm watching Ugly Betty now and just loving it. I'm also crying like a baby. Why?? Its a great show and I'm SO sad there is only one more episode left next week.

Howdy...I was so busy on Monday would you believe I forgot to post a card?? We are having spectacular weather this month (wow its almost over) and I am loving the sunshine. No card today because I don't feel like posting one. I have lots of work to get finished before bed. This is what I made last nite at the scrapping crop. I never go to scrapbook. Today is Palm Sunday and I have a nice big Palm leaf to fan myself with LOL. And guess what??? A brand new Martha Stewart punch I picked up for 50% off at my favorite Michael's after I met friends for coffee at Caribou. I know shame on me. Not only am I a shopaholic but I am a punch addict too!! Hope you are having a great day. I photolifted this picture of my beautiful eggs. I think I made 24 of them or was it 36?? Today's card is for a very special person!! WOO you may ask??? Its made from a Basic Grey card kit but I kicked it up a notch with a little Prima flower and brad/bling action!! Hope you likey!! Hey girls. Here's my second favorite card from Jessica's class (Pine City). Don't you just love it? I do!! She hand cut the cupcake. I love the pretty designer paper, sweet stamp, and ribbon technique. I have to make my post short today as I'm off to go pick up something I tracked down I have wanted SO bad and its on hold. Imagine that? Me? Do I really put things on hold?? As the Minnesotans say, YOU BETCHA!! As the wicked people from Massachusetts say, that's wicked freakin' awesome. I'll be right over!! I better get my ars in the car before the store closes!! LOL. I am SO naughty but I do *need* it bad for an upcoming class. Any guesses??? My NH friend Mary is calling tonight so I must hurry up and get my errands done and get my ars home where I belong and OUT of the stores. Hope your day has been suntastic. I'm back!! Whew its almost midnight and I'm blogging just under the wire. Had a very busy day and man was it gorgeous weather. Sunshine makes me so happy and I was naughty and slipped out to Starbucks and Michael's early this morning (had to get another Martha Stewart punch) I know BAD me. Tonight I am sharing an owl card with you my fabo readers because I am SO wise. Hoot Hoot!! I love the pretty background paper and of course I only bought two sheets of it long ago. Hate when that happens and when will I ever learn after all these years?? The card is very pretty if you could only see it in person. Its made on one of my favorite cardstocks Neenah Classis Crest Natural White. Neenah is the Cadilac of paper in my opinion. We are very lucky to have two Anchor Paper Express stores in the Twin Cities area to purchase it from as well as the envelopes. Its expensive but so worth it. Neenah also produces the Solar White paper used for Copics. I must get to bed soon. I hope you all had a great day and please stop back on Wednesday for another owl treat. Hoot Hoot!!! I made it to day two on the 'ole blog. Another miracle!! The owl stamp on my card is from Savvy and the other two (small flower and sentiment) are from Amuse. I dyed the white area on the ribbon with creamy brown chalk ink which happens to be one of my very favorite colors and brands of chalk inks by Color Box. Thanks *Candy* for saving the day for me with two new creamy brown chalk ink pads. Good nite my friends. If you are good I may have some blog candy in April. Maybe, maybe not? I made this card for a friend but never mailed it to her last winter. Bad bad me!! Hmmmm......NO surprise on that one!! I am going to sell "she skates" this week so I thought I'd post the card to wish Miss Skater well and tell Mr. Winter to hit the road Jack!! *He* did hit us with some pretty cold weather last Friday (had to get my winter coat, scarf, and gloves back out) but on Saturday, the first day of spring it was a glorious sunshiny day while I was up in Pine City. I hope you had a great day today. I was able to watch a little skating on TV this weekend. Did anyone else see it? I think it was called Skating on Thin Ice but I'm not 100% sure? It was a take off of Dancing With The Stars which I can't wait to watch tonight. I am posting a Monday Double Header especially for Sherry and Amy. TA TA my friends and PLEASE, NO more cold weather or snow for us. We had enough of both this past winter season. I am very happy all the ugly dirty white stuff has finally melted. I can't wait to hopefully get a few flowers for my lower deck but its way too early for that in Minnesota. Mother Nature likes to play tricks on us. Hey Beckie from BFE!! If you are reading this blog I am thinking of you (good egg no I must have you confused with RA or Wendi)!! Ha ha!! I had a wicked awesome class today at Lunds. I'd like to thank all the great peeps that came to my owl class. It was a hooting good time with lots of sass. They don't call us the Sassy Stampers for nothing. We had a great time and what a beautiful sunny day. I am so happy Mr. Winter is finally hitting the highway. See yah its been real as in really cold and snowy. Here's a card I recently made. For you locals I will be doing a free Make and Take on Saturday, March 13 from noon until 3 pm. Remember Daylight Savings is this Sunday and its also the day of my You're a Hoot class at Lunds. I am scheduled to teach a couple of Spring Card Classes soon at Smudges. Another busy week next week. Our ATC meeting is on St. Patricks Day and I'm taking a class on Friday and Saturday. I may have to cancel out of the Friday one at Archiver's. We shall see.

Here's another Memory Box card from my sis. We both love the penguin stamps and Martha Stewart stickers (daisy). Sami used colored pencils on this baby and I love how she does the background free handed no less. Don't you just love getting mail when you least expect it? I sure do!! I've been so busy these past few weeks which is a good thing. I haven't had a lot of extra time to update the 'ole blog but I hope to soon with a new card. Today I am off to spend some time with my friend Sherry at Archiver's. We will use their crop room to play around. She will be scrapbooking and me stamping (hopefully not shopping). She has a lot of them!! If you are looking for something fun to do in the next nine days why not take a road trip to the Pine City Scrapbooking Company in Pine City!!. Wendy and I dropped off some treasures to sell at the sale yesterday. Marni told us they had 33 sellers. I hope we both sell a lot at the sale so we can stay over at their attached Scrapbooking retreat in April. (crossing my finges). Its really an awesome store and I didn't get to look around too much as I was busy unloading and finishing up things for the sale. Garage sales are not my thing but really it wasn't that bad. Made just a tiny dent in my huge collection of rubber stamps!! I was only able to round up one box of Amuse stamps and a few skeins of fibers/yarns. Oh well it wasn't bad for starters. Here's a Graphic 45 card I made for my good friend Jodi Bug. It was also a card I recently taught at Smudges. I haven't seen Jodi in ages but I will be visiting with her later today in Pine City!! I can't wait to pop into the Pine City Scrapbooking Shop with my BFF Wendy who is Jodi's big sister. The store is having their Annual Used Stamp and Scrapbooking Sale beginning this Saturday. There are 27 sellers. I believe the sale runs for one week? At this time I am only selling A Muse stamps at a deep discount. If there is anything you want I can pull it for you but you have to email me soon. OK back to today's card. I LOVE anything from Graphic 45 and I want the new 8 x 8 paper pads really bad available at Anchor Paper. I know I always want something new!! Its the story of my life. Hello friends. I know I've been a bad blogger however life has been really busy as of late which is both good and bad. I wanted to post this beautiful card I received from my sister. Don't you love it when you receive a card just because? I know I sure do. My sister is very talented and made the card with a soft pink Memory Box notecard, the stamp line is from NH, and she colored the pig skater with her new Staedtler colored pencils. Sami drew the background swirl (motion) and the stars. I must say this is my most favorite of her cards ever. We both love watching the Olympics and are huge fans of ice skating and skiing. I just happen to be watching skating right now. How about you? Do you enjoy watching the Olympics? I had two wonderful classes this week at Smudges. A big thanks to all that came. A card from my sweet sister Sami!!

My sister sent me this wicked cute card. She stamped the lizard, water colored it, and cut out Mr. Cross. She placed it on a heart embossed note card. She added four kinds of Martha Stewart stickers (inside too) and some Stickles. I love how it came out. It really is an adorable card if you could only see it up close and personal. The scan and auto enhance distorted all the colors. Sami sent me three cards last week and I enjoyed each and every one of them.

More snow today. What a surprise on that one. I have to clean off my car again tomorrow morning and I seriously need my roof raked again before it caves in or leaks. Yikes. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by friends. Tami

This one's for you Sherry Baby....finally!! I hope it was worth the wait. I really am not conceited for those of you that don't know me in person. I like to joke around and have fun with stamping and not get all caught up in copyrights. Hee hee. My card was hiding in my cropper hopper Sherry!! Whew. Recently while cruising Sherry's blog I stumbled upon a card she made for a card challenge so I decided to make a card inspired from her. What do you think? I love how it turned out and I even got a little grungy with it so I could make my friend Donna AKA Grunge Woman proud!! I love anything Cosmo Cricket and Tim Holtz distress inks. This card even sports one of my antique buttons straight from an antique shop. Button Junkie Sherry and Grunge Woman Donna....you two are rubbing off on 'ole Woodey Girl but I bet you don't have a paper dust rag yet for when you get all grungy. No more paper dust for me. OK its rather late and I need some serious beauty rest. Oprah is on now and its creepy. I was on a lengthy long distance phone call this evening with one of my good friends in CO after I watched the Bachelor. I can not believe I sobbed during the show. Do you watch it and who do you want Jake to select as his wife? I am glad one person voluntarily left the show. Nightie night peeps. I'll be back with card number three. Hello friends-- Greetings from Minne-snow-ta. Yes more snow so what else is new!! How are you today? Good I hope. Saturday update first!! I got a haircut finally and then all hell broke loose once I left Fantastic Sam's. Target, Michael's and three other stops. I know bad bad bad Tami. I MUST and WILL try harder this week. My Superbowl class at Lunds yesterday was a huge success. We had the best time and I must say I was quite pleased with my designs however I did get inspiration from my friend Sherry on one of the cards (can't find it yet so hang tight Button Woman). Pat Pat on the 'ole back back!! It was SO great seeing my long time supporters so kudos girlfriends. Its just what I needed!! You are my sunshine. I am planning to teach one Sunday a month at Lunds (next class is March 7 so mark your calendars now). Its going to be a hoot of a good time and thanks Ruth Ann for the class suggestion. It will be titled Owl always love you -or- HOO loves you babe?? I am thinking about the fabo AMY T. in WA right now as she loves anything with owls. I know I'm such a tease but I love having a little fun every now and then!! You would not believe how awesome every one's cards came out yesterday. WOW such talented ladies. I love it when people do their own spin on my designs. Jan doubled up as the class photographer. She loves taking pictures but I do not like posing for them!! Can anyone relate?? I'm plan to post all my Superbowl Sunday (SO happy the Saints won) class samples this week so please check back. First up today is one of my favs from yesterday's class. The K and Company paper is from Michael's and its so elegant. I really want another pad but I must use up what I have first. The scan does not do the card justice but its better than nothing right friends?? I used Stampin' Up sentiments (one of my all time favorite sets) and the flourish (inside) is from Memory Box. Sorry it did not scan too well. The card base is Neenah Classic Crest Natural White which is the Cadillac of all paper.

Getting my grunge on for Sunday at Lunds!!

Greetings peeps from snowy MN. We have SO much snow. I have been stamping up a storm and using my new goodies plus some new oldies. I used COSMO CRICKET papers to make this birthday card for a special friend as well as 4 punches (I especially love MS punches) and my new Embossing Boutique machine (got it for 80% off at Micheals) with my favorite Swiss Dots embossing folder. I love the vintage feel of this card however it did not scan too well. I made up extra kits for my class on Sunday so you still have time to join us (email me). Planning on going out tomorrow for a haircut and a quick stop at Target for a couple necessities (hair dye). Have a super weekend and thanks for stopping by friends. Coming clean as promised

I am so ashamed to even write this but I have to as promised in a previous entry. I went out today. Bank, Starbucks, Rainbow, and Mike's. Can you believe it? And, yesterday I ordered something online. I am not proud of myself but I feel I must blog about it to try and get a handle on my bad habits (shopping). There are worse things in life but I have bills. Lots and lots of bills. I did get the *plain* coffee free (credit card perk) and I had a gift card at Michael's but still that's no excuse. I broke my promise and its only Feb. 3. Bad me!! I did need a few groceries. Oh well. There's always tomorrow. Now let's see if I can be good the rest of the week but I need a haircut before my class on Sunday. That's a must!! Time to change the subject. Here's a sweet card I received in the mail today. I just love it. Its makes me smile. The card was made with an inchie stamp from Smudges by one of my good friends. Thanks girlfriend. Hello friends. I know its been awhile since I last blogged but I had an action packed week and there was just no time to do it!! HA HA!! I hate to even write what I did so I won't. I managed to stay home only two out of the five days last week. Tomorrow is Feb. 1 and I must get back on track and stop the madness. I was able to take the very first Shabby Chic class at Archiver's with my friend Cheryl. She is SO much fun and my newest partner of crime!! HA HA again!! We had a blast together on Thursday and it was a last minute plan for me. SO glad I went!! Both of us really enjoyed the class on Thursday evening and learned some new things. Paint (Ranger daubbers) and me don't get along too good just ask Cheryl. Too funny!! I am repeating the class later this month with friends at another location. Its a long story which I will spare you the details but can't wait to go again!! Sitting here watching the Grammy awards and loving it. It makes me want to run to Target and get the Grammy CD!! Maybe?? Maybe not but I do have a small gift card. We shall see.

I hope you all have a super week. We are slated for more snow on Monday and Tuesday. Great!! (not really). I am still accepting signups for my annual Superbowl Sunday Stamping Party at Lunds this coming Sunday, Feb. 7. We are making five really nice all occasion cards!! There will be prizes and yummy treats so email me now if you'd like to come or maybe just order the class kits. We always have a blast and the people are the best as well as the instructor!! :) Added two classes at Smudges (see right side of blog) and a free Make & Take on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 12-3 pm. Another busy week approaching so I better get back to setting up my inspiration/class table. Its going to be *lovely* and I even have a pretty Valentine's Day tablecloth for it. I really do love to decorate for the holidays so I hope I will be able to sweeten up my downstairs for Valentine's Day this year. I have a few things up my sleeve for this month so we shall see if I can pull them off?? Maybe baby?? The Valentine Amuse stamps are still available. An early Tuesday note...I haven't scanned the card yet as promised but wanted to post this blog to let people know I'm still alive. I have been cleaning like a mad woman and purging junk. I am donating a stack of cards for our soldiers at an upcoming Archiver's event. Anyone local want to join me on Feb. 18 for a good cause?? Its Cards for Soldiers card making night at all Archiver's I believe from 6-7:30 pm. I've managed to make an even bigger mess in my living room but I will be stamping like a mad woman all day Tuesday and hopefully getting a much needed haircut later on. Nothing like having a beautiful card in your stash when you need one in a pinch. I have a friend which shall remain annoymous that I have renamed Claire. Its a *little* inside joke but it is she that made this pretty card which I landed in a swap. I just hate to part with it but its going to my family out east. They had to mail me two huge boxes shortly after I returned home because all my Christmas presents would not fit in my new suitcase --a very nice "going away gift" from my sister Sami. Imagine that? My family is SO generous and I am certainly not bragging just blogging. I broke my old suitcase prior to leaving for Boston because I was rushing to zip it and I totally messed up the zipper beyond repair. My nerves were so bad that morning due to a few issues which I had no control over such as Mother Nature and my actual Mother you know "the famous Ellie". All is good now with Mama Ellie after her knee surgery. I am SO blessed and SO lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. Thanks everyone. I hope to be back soon with a Tami card. I know its late, I know I'm weary, I know I'm lonely, I know I'm a turkey but I just couldn't resist blogging in the wee hours because again I can't sleep. I wanted to share Mr. Turkey with you before he went bye bye. Dang what's a girl to do when she can't sleep?? I've been deleting some old files to free up some space on the 'ole laptop because I have to somehow photograph a few things. Ruth Ann if you are reading this post I have BIG news for you!! I actually finished my vintage CD calendar. I am so so happy!!

Right now I can't stop thinking about AMY girl at CHA. She must be in her glories at that big show. I am so jealour but so happy for her. Amy is an online friend and a power stamper/blogger. She won the trip to California and loves anything with owls. She is listed on my blog if you want to check out her fabbo work and she is the Queen of Nicenessfor sure!! Anyway I am just sick about the Vikings losing on Sunday. I actully cried. Can you believe it but I am happy for the Saints. Looking forward to Superbowl Sunday and the BIG game after my Superbowl Stamping Party at Lunds. I better get back in bed and try to sleep for a few hours. I think its because my mind is racing in so many directions. I have so much to get done this week and so much on my mind. I should take up medication (LOL) I mean meditation and yoga!! Hello. Its very late and I can't sleep. Watching Anderson Cooper on CNN right now. Major Cooper fan!! Are you getting sick of my ATCs yet? I did make all the ones I have posted this week. I was naughty on Friday and slipped back to my old bad shopping habits so to punish myself I have to make yet another Saving Haiti donation. The Superbowl Sunday Party is a go for Feb. 7 at Lunds!! I hope you can join me for a stamping good time complete with five projects and of course a few prizes. Email me if you'd like to come. The festivities will end before the game starts so if you are a football fan such as myself you will still have time to view the game. I really appreciate advance signups and plan to start *noonish* (12-12:30). Keep your eyes peeled for an email this weekend. We had more freezing rain on Friday nite and let me tell you I was slip sliding away on the way home. I wish I could fall sleep but I'm wide awake so I've been doing laundry, wrapping Christmas gifts (yes in January), packing up a *stamp transaction* and now I'm blogging. On a very sad note I found out via email two lovely Minnesota women passed away this week. My heart is so heavy right now with their passing. Life is so precious. Hello. More crappy weather today. Freezing rain. Yes slip sliding away and my car looks like a glazed donut. I had to chip away at the ice on every window so I could see driving. I went to Michael's today. I had to buy one item but I left with two things. I got a Sizzix embossing purse for 80% off. I couldn't believe it. It came with 10 embossing folders. The sad part of my good deal is I once bought myself this cute little number but then I returned it because I own a Cuttlebug. Oh well now I have two machines to emboss with...one for each hand. LOL!! I did have a gift card so I treated myself. Have a great weekend. Tami

Tonight we gathered at Smudges for our first meeting of 2010. Here's a couple of my ATCs I made to swap with the other gals. Carolyn lead the group and we made some lovely Valentine treat holders. It was so great to see everyone again after the holidays. I am watching Ugly Betty now. Love that show!! I hope your week is going great. They are predicting freezing rain for Thursday. A storm is coming too with more snow this weekend. Great!! Although I love fresh snow, I dislike freezing rain and ice. I'm however looking forward to the Vikings game on Sunday and maybe a quick visit to Archiver's some time this week to use my 30% off coupon. Hello Friends! First off hat's off to the Vikings. I am so happy they won and really enjoyed the game today. I'd also like to thank everyone that sent me a Christmas card. I received several beautiful cards last year (seems funny saying that) and it was SO nice to come home to a BIG stack of more cards. I did bring some leftover class kits out east to work on but once I got there I just couldn't make another card. Plus I didn't bring everything I needed to finish them off. Enough was enough!!

This particular holiday card is from one of my online friends Tinla(click on her name in my favorite lists to check out her beautiful work. She is on a Design Team) in Canada too!! Tinla and I have been friends for over three years now and she is just the sweetest person ever. I labeled her long ago Queen of Nestabilities. When I went to pick up my mail last Monday her lovely card was on top of the pile and I got so excited. Isn't this card just so sweet? Well I think I will close now and get back to my "present project". I am mailing out a few Christmas presents this week to my family and this includes gift wrapping. Yuck (I am all wrapped out after helping my sister Samantha) but I have to do it. Silly me I forgot a whole bag of presents that was sitting on a dining room chair. Crazy situation but better late than never!! I hope you had a great weekend.

One more thing...have you seen the newest Cosmo Cricket lines? Oh my goodness. I want, I want, I want!! You can find that great company on my blog too. They totally rock the industry and are such great people!! Thanks for stopping by. I did donate to the Red Cross for Haiti on Saturday. Larry King is having a two-hour special on Monday evening and I will probably make another donation. The Haitians are on my mind 24/7. We Americans are just so spoiled and we are so wasteful. (I know there is a lot of poverty in our country also but I'm just stating a BIG fact). I am giving up a few things for a month or so (what I call *luxury items*) and plan to donate the money to Haiti. Every little bit helps. No more frivolous spending at Caribou Coffee (except $1.00 Mondays), Michael's, Archiver's, and Target (all my favorite places). I am by no means a rich woman but I want to do this. It is important to me. I wish I could mail them all a pair of shoes. Its time to watch the Golden Globe Awards so I'm signing off. Have a super week friends and remember kindness goes a long way. Port-Au-Prince, Haiti

I have been glued to the TV this week watching the news and the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake. My heart is just aching for every single person in that country. It is so devastating. I couldn't sleep last nite so I watched Anderson Cooper on CNN. What a remarkable job all the journalists do under such horrific circumstances. I'd be crying every minute. It is especially hard to watch the dead being scooped up with a bulldoser and then dropped into a dump trunk but they have to do what is necessary. I feel so sorry for every single person in Haiti but think how horrific it must be for the people that are handling and disposing the deceased. God bless them. They are saying over 100,000 people are dead. I heard one report of 140,000. I can only imagine the stence in Haiti on day 3. I hope everyone will consider making the $10.00 donation to the Red Cross. It is a very small amount for such a good cause. I for sure plan to do it tomorrow morning. We Americans are just so lucky to live in the USA. Haiti is such a devasted country and certainly one of the poorest. We have it so good here.

In closing, go Vikings. I can hardly wait until Sunday to watch the game. Have a nice weekend. And yes Amy, nice certainly does matter. We need to love one another and treat people with kindness. Just popping in to say hello and happy 2010. I know its been like a month or so since I last blogged but I was out of town for the holidays and crazy busy with 'tis the season and whatnot before I left. I am happy to report I've been doing great in the card dept. I have mailed out four birthday cards and one thank you note so far this month. Woo hoo for me plus I sent out several winter notes before I flew back home. Since my return home to the frozen tundra last weekend, I became wicked sick with a bad cold on Monday.

Thanks for all your emails. I have missed you too. I decided I'd share a card with you I mailed out Thursday. Its an oldie but so glad I had it on hand in a pinch! I welcome your comments. To be quite honest I thought about giving up blogging this year for several reasons. It takes up a lot of my time for starters. Anyway I do plan to blog like once or twice a month. Thanks for stopping by and happy winter. I will leave you with a little funny story especially for my friends that don't get any snow. On Wednesday afternoon I had four men up on my roof raking it to prevent ice damns. After raking they shoveled off both decks and a fifth guy used a snow blower to get all the snow off our new driveway. I thought it was pretty funny. Even though I was not feeling well I stil went outside to see all the action!! I swear I got sick from all the germs on the airplane. I was talking to my neighbor today while rolling out the trash and she too got sick after returning home from NY. Oh well germs happen. I did have a wonderful and relaxing vacation with my family. Another fridgid day in MN. I've been stamping and watching Good Morning America. I will miss Diane Sawyer but am so happy she will be on the evening news. I am also a fan of Charlie Gibson and will miss him dearly. I am a huge Chris Commo fan too and will miss him. All of these people are just the best including Robin Roberts and Sam Champion. Not much new just that I'm busy as an elf preparing for the holidays. SO much to do and so little time. I hope you had a great week. Tonight is my last class for 2009 and I can't wait to be with friends at Caribou Coffee. We got 6.4" of white stuff on Tuesday and into Wednesday. It is just freezing out and my house is so drafty.
