TGIF!!

Hello!!
Anyone out there?? I am very sorry I didn't keep up with the blog thing but I got busy with life and just trying to survive. And then there's the heat factor and my plumbing problems. Geesh!! It ain't easy peeps. Just taking care of business, oh and the Michael Jackson thing (glued to the TV on Tuesday). RIP Michael. Today is Friday and you know what that means!!! Get your butt over to the Memory Box blog and give me a little LOVE. My guest blog this week took me forever. I swear I must have proofread it at least 50 times. So on that note I think I deserve a little love. Hee hee. I want to thank my handful of loyal fans. Your blog love is greatly appreciated. I have to find a card in my stash to post. I plan to be back soon like later on today with a card. I have to get ready for the day and tend to my outside plants. Its so humid again. Yuck a doo. Miss you friends. Oh happy day. Happy July Fourth!!

Greetings from Savage!! MN that is. I hope everyone is having a swell weekend. I'm at my *adopted Grandma's* (I will pay for this later) and am enjoying every minute of 'ole granny pampering me and yelling at her hubby too. Poor Bill!! I had a little Graphic 45 class yesterday after we got back from a late lunch at the Crackle Barrel. We had a good time and lots of good laughs.

Here's one of the cards we made Friday with a little double ric rac action going on. (I actually made it with my Dad in mind as I owe him a card). I hope you likey and it is not 100% my idea (you know the 'ole copying and tweak method). Sorry I blew it yesterday in the blogging department. I was too tired to post last nite so that means I may have to make up for it tonight?? Maybe is the key word here!! I attempted to watch a movie with Jan last nite Confessions of a Shopaholic but I fell asleep during it. Bummer but man was I tired after only getting a few hours of sleep the night before. I was out like a light. We plan to watch a movie this evening and craft a bit after supper. Still NO scrapbooking but I'm having a good time just chillin' and grillin' so that's all that matters!! I did *attempt* to make a batch of Rice Krispy bars this morning but disaster struck in Jan's kitchen. Jan wanted to snap a photo of me so I let her. I can't believe I blew it but I knew before I started the bowl was too small as well as the pan. Oh well I tried. Any plans for fireworks tonight??? I already went to them on Wed. nite in Plymouth so I got my fill. We have decided to stay home and take it easy tonight. Have a super Sunday my friends. I hope you will get a bang out of the photo because I sure did!! Catch you later. Tami : ) PS Dinner was great and we had lots of yummy food. Thanks Jan and Bill -King of the grill!! Fly Fly Fly!!

Here's a class sample I made for an upcoming class I'm teaching in July. It looks much nicer in person and the ribbon shifted in my scanner but hopefully it looks OK. I really love how it turned out. Anyway this is Thursday's card although I'm posting it late. Please forgive me as I had a super busy day. Does this mean I have to post a Friday card? Well I don't know about that but I will try my darnest to post one from Jan's. Yikes the pressure is on!! I'm leaving today for the weekend so I'm not sure yet if I'll be blogging. Here's my card as promised right before the stroke of midnite!!

Hello dear friends. Got a little busy this evening cleaning like a mad woman, more laundry, scrubbing, purging old clothes, and washing windows. Then I ran out for a Starbucks and a few groceries (diet coke only $1.25 a 12 pack)!! Then for some strange reason I decided to go to the fireworks at 10 pm in Plymouth. I missed the MN Symphany again this year but maybe next year?? I know I'm crazy. I have to get back to work now. I have just one day left to finish a whole bunch of things including my weekly Friday guest blog on the Memory Box blog and I have to color my hair all before Friday morning. Bye bye roots!! (I hate dying my hair more than anything in my white bathroom). I can't wait to get out of town on Friday and have a little fun with a couple of my friends. Anyway have a great Thursday chickadees. I will try and post another card tomorrow. Do you think I can do it seven days in a row??? Hmmmm....not sure but I will certainly try. Wishing you a very happy and relaxing holiday weekend for those of you in the US!! Please be safe. The crazies are already out I tell you. Hey this card looks much better in real life. I recently taught it in a COPIC class and I colored the white Cuttlebugged paper with lime green and then blue ink. I love doing this!! It really is a cute card if only you could see it in person. I used Stickles, clear glaze pen, clear and lemon Spica glitter pen, Denami shreds, and blue staples. My card didn't scan too well as its lumpy. I tried to tweek it but I'm not a good tweeker!! I need some formal *tweeking training*. LOL!!! I hope this note finds you well. Card Challenge 66 Wheely Good Fun!!

I was checking out a few blogs today and saw this particular wheel card challenge completed on Glenna's blog. I thought I'd give it a whirl as I had the perfect wheel sentiment. Its another beautiuful day here in MN but about 30 degrees cooler than last Tuesday. Right now its 63 degress at around 3 pm. I hate to say this but at one point today I was freezing and craving a hot drink? Cocoa perhaps? Nope I stuck with water. Hope you are having a great day. I will be back tomorrow with another card. Guess I'm making up for lost time!! For me its back to kitmaking and sorting my vast supply of printed paper. Oh one last thing, the card challenge details can be found on Cute Card Thursday. ESS#43 Card Challenge

Hello friends-
First off I'm really new to card challenges so please cut me a little slack!! I did run into a few snags yesterday while uploading my card for Tracy's challenge (her blog link is on the bottom of my blog Eat Sleep Stamp) but heck I tried. I decided to use some Amy Butler goodies from my stash for a couple of reasons. Amy (also listed on my blog) loves Amy Butler and so do I. She is an awesome talented young woman in WA and does a lot of card challenges!! Hi Amy!! I really like her style and of course Sherry the button lady (also listed below). I made the card because I found the paper and Grand Adhesions while sorting my Memory Box paper yesterday. I couldn't post it until today because I wanted Sherry to go on a treasure hunt!! Tee hee but I made it too easy for her!! Long story!! So here you have my take on the card challenge. Next time I will keep the sketch up on my laptop as a reference (that's if my laptop will stay up that long and not to mention I can't print anything at all-have to go to the library) and then do the challenge!! I also thought I would surprise three of my friends with the card...Tracy, Tinla and Sherry. I hope you likey!! I tried to upload the actual file of the card challenge but I'm having trouble so the real card will have to do for now. Remember I'm a newbie at all this and blogging too!! :)

We had another perfect beautiuful day here in MN and that made me so so happy!! I got a lot of work done both inside and outside the house!! PS...This week is going to rock. I can already feel it. Nothing lasts forever so thank God the yucky humid weather we had last week has gone to another place.
